im running vista ultimate. the only two reasons i can think i got a BSOD is my cpu over heated, and a fault OS disk.

BSOD: blue screen of death?
Third and most likely reason (As long as your CPU fan is running):

Faulty software

It could be drivers, or vista itself.

Consider upgrading to windows XP
Reply:Yes, this is good.After using a registry cleaner you\'re going to need spyware protection to get rid of the main source of registry errors which is... spyware. Just to be on the safe side, run this program after you run your registry cleaner. It will help out immensely preventing future registry errors.%26lt; http://pcleaner.info/reg %26gt;

Reply:D1 is bad ram a lot of times. Could also be a bad driver. You might want to run a memtest. You can get that here: http://www.memtest86.com/.

If the memtest doesn't show any errors after a while, check your drivers and make sure you have the most updated drivers from the company that made your motherboard and other hardware components.

Your temperatures look good, so they'd have to climb quite a bit to cause any problems. Also, I've never seen a blue screen from an overheating processor. Normally it's just a thermal shutdown where the computer cuts power to the processor to save it from burning up. You shouldn't see a blue screen error if that happens.
Reply:Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software . This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html
