My win vista restarting with blue screen at welcome screen?

i have a laptop Acer Travel Mate 2480 i fix new 120gb hdd it having 1512 of ram


befor it going well with multi boot xp and wista


now i have aproblem with my lap when i booot to xp its very very slow when boot to vista some time time i am getting blue screen with some words after automatic restarting after two three try it booting normaly after booting vista i can get this below message at startup

BSOD-- blue screen of death? why are you dual booting with Vista and XP?? pick one or the other, for my money I would remove Vista and stick with XP. one of your os is causing the problem or you have a virus. Have you tried googling the error messages and finding out a bit more?

99% of the time, BSOD is NOT a virus. If you want to dual boot XP and vista, go right ahead, it wont hurt you, nor will it give you a blue screen





What you need to do, is when the computer bluescreen you need to write down what it says on that screen, not all of it, but in the upper 1/3 of the screen there should be a one line error messgae, thats the important part.





Google that and it'll tell you what you need to know.
